| The
formal network activities included six workshops, which were held
between 2004-6. The workshops were hosted at the institutions of the
core participants. The network aims to involve a wide international
range of other researchers, both inside and outside an outside the
academy, in the activities of the network.
Two one-day workshops were held each year (throughout 2004, 2005
and 2006) each focussing on one of the network themes:
